Why won't my security database deploy to a T800 ?

Here are the few things that need to be checked:

 

  • In the T800 database, you need to have the following block: "TOD_DIAG".

 

  • It has to be set up as a slave.

 

  • Make sure that on the EurothermSuite server, in the "LinOPC" control panel applet, the ELIN port has the parameter called "Sync Time" enabled.

 

  • Make sure that the time synchronisation is working OK, by changing the time of the PC by one hour, and check that the T800 time changes as well. If it is not the case and you are using a router it is very likely that the router is not allowing time broadcasts through it, so you need to correctly set up your Network.unh file.

 

  • Make sure that T800 user data base is not master (MENU/USERS/MAINT), the parameter Master Access needs to be false.

 

  • Then come back to the right time and test your deployment again.

Note that on a Multi-Server configuration, there should be only one Time Master.
