Why does the LINTools online books link does not work ?

There is a plugin called PDFGOTO.API that we install into the Adobe Acrobat Reader install directory. This parses the command line that is passed to the Reader and removes the destination (#name) on the end of the command line, loads the file and then jumps to the named destination. If reader has been updated to a new version then the plugin will be in the wrong folder. The solution is to copy the file PDFGOTO.API into the new location. Typical locations are:

 

"Program Files\Adobe\Reader 8.0\Reader\plug_ins"

"Program Files\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\plug_ins"
