Do I have a problem with DAO360.dll ?

This may not actually have been frequently asked because it is not something one would normally relate to any problems. But what we have found is that, due to historic problems with our installers, there can be multiple versions of DAO360.dll installed on a PC. If an old version is being used it has been found to cause crashes in Review software and it could potentially affect other parts of EurothermSuite. For example, this is what I found on my own PC:

 

C:\WINNT\system32\dao360.dll version 3.60.2927.4 C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO\dao360.dll version 3.60.8618.0

To fix this problem copy the latest version (8618) over the top of the older version.

 

Any version of EurothermSuite earlier than 3.4 will have installed the incorrect version into the system32 folder. Review has been installing an intermediate version 3.60.3714.0 which does not appear to cause the problem. So this version could also be copied over the 3.60.2927.4 version to correct the problem.
