How do you setup Tag Security ?

Tag Security involves both of the access databases that are central to EurothermSuite, the project database and the security database. The project database allows tags (and plant units now) to be assigned to tag security areas (which are created below the "Tag Security" item) and this can be done using the Project Organiser tool. But in order to give users different levels of access to different tag security areas (not individual tags) the security manager tool must be used. The security manager tool is available from the Project Organiser application toolbar when "Tag Security" is selected.

The level of access required to write to fields within tags can be tuned using the "Tag Profile Configurator". This also allows the level of confirmation on a write to a field to be defined. Tag profiles can be applied to all tags of a type (i.e. LIN template type) or a subset. This tool is also available from the "Tag Security" toolbar.
