Error writing $LINOPC.Message.w 938D

The error number 938D appears because a conversion from unicode to ascii has produced a non-ascii character. This is a correct check when writing to LIN values but is not correct for descriptors and logged messages (in the case of $LINOPC.Message). PDR15400 raised for this issue. The characters are likely to be characters with accents attached or symbols. One workaround is to use the ascii equivalent character in logged messages.
