'ActiveX Component can't create object' (Error code 429) is due Microsoft installation bugs. There is more than one failurescenario. A search on the Internet for the error string should reveal potential solutions. Microsoft Article Q189607 is describes one scenario that Eurotherm has found give the error.

This has happened since EurothermSuite version 4.4 when running ESConfig. The workaround is to install DAO from the EurothermSuite 4.6.2 CD. It can be found in installs\ESCommon\dao\disk1\setup.exe
